The Youth Hostel Monte Corona is sited in Cantabria, on the Spanish north coast, in its capital, Santander. This area enjoys a mild summer climat with nice temperatures of around 25ºC.

The concrete location is in Monte, Santander, 3 Kms. far from the beach of the Sardinero and very near the Magdalena park, where you can visit a beautiful palace, a quite beach, without any danger for children, wonderful landscape and a very nice little zoo.

The means of transport are excellent. The bus stop is in front of the Hostel and buses from Monte and the bus number 6 of the Town Council will take you to the centre of the city and the beach in a very short time.

From the Youth Hostel, you can reach the Maruca beach and its coast after a walk of ten minutes.
